Even before the first Nationally Celebrated (recognized) Afro American Celebration, in 1986, food, it’s history, and its significance stems from the significant role in enriching cultural identity(ies), therefore becoming a catalyst for the Black community, in such a way that helped them fellowship beyond bloodline relatives. It has become the catalyst within the community, and identity for every group.
